Is there a reliable Avatar Legends tier list yet?
Not yet. Reproducible public lists are mostly individual launch-period judgments without enough tournament results, stable patches, or cross-region match samples. Azula is a recurring high-placement candidate across more than one source, but that is an early repeated signal—not proof of an S tier. Other fighters diverge even more.
How public sources disagree
- Pocket Tactics
- Places Azula and Korra high, but also describes Ranked as a current feature, conflicting with the official “upcoming patches” status. It is usable as an opinion source, not a feature-status source.
- Sportskeeda
- Explicitly frames the list as the author’s launch judgment. It provides another ordering, but not tournament data or developer balance evidence.
- Repeated signal
- Azula frequently appears near the top, while Korra, Aang, Zuko, and Katara move with the author and criteria. That disagreement is more useful than averaging opinions into a fake row.
When will this page publish tiers?
- At least two independent public events with reproducible full results.
- Track usage, conversion into top placements, and matchup samples—not only the winning character.
- Restart the evidence window after a major balance patch.
- Publish the old row, new row, date, and evidence for every move.
Do not let a tier list choose for you
For a new player, cognitive load, clarity of feedback, and willingness to practice matter more than a low-confidence list. Try several fighters in Training and character lessons, then compare their playstyles in the character guide.
